Virtual Cooking Classes

This experience is for groups who would like to learn about cooking via a computer screen! In some cases, we even can provide food and/or equipment depending on your group’s needs. This is a perfect opportunity if your group can not come into our Cooking Studio due to transportation. 

The two types of classes we offer are:

1. “Demo” with cooking hacks, knife skills, cooking methods or quick recipes

2. “Cook Along With Us”  follow a recipe from start to finish

In order to be a good fit for this program, your agency would need an advocate/teacher that can:

• Send an Interest Survey, an Equipment Needs survey (if applicable, to determine what cooking equipment students have at home), and a Waiver/Release form to students (La Soupe will provide surveys/forms).

• Identify a maximum of 10 youth or 25 adults that will log in and attend the class.

• Provide a list with each student’s name and needed equipment (if applicable) to La Soupe.

• Provide refrigeration for the La Soupe prepared and delivered meal kits until the students pick up the kits or the agency delivers the kits to their households. Meal kits will be delivered to the organization/school the day before the class.

• Dedicate 1 person/teacher for this program who will:
        - Provide La Soupe teachers with the virtual class invite link 
        - Be present online during the entire virtual class
         - Ensure the students have their cameras on during class (youth only)
        - Ensure the students complete a post-class survey (La Soupe will provide survey)

Booking is dependent on La Soupe’s schedule.
