AmeriCorps RSVP Volunteer Program

We’re excited to announce a new partnership that directly benefits you! This program, part of AmeriCorps, is designed to foster a supportive community while offering fantastic incentives. It’s open exclusively to seniors aged 55 and older.

AmeriCorps RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) is the nation’s largest volunteer network for adults 55+, and it’s federally funded through AmeriCorps Seniors. La Soupe is now proud to be a partner, and we’d love for you to join the RSVP team—where you can continue your important work with us, just as you’ve been doing!

Perks of joining RSVP for current La Soupe Volunteers:

  • Volunteers are invited to an RSVP specific Annual Recognition Event

  • Volunteers get to experience the camaraderie of a nationally-recognized network & meet people who hold the same values & interests

  • RSVP provides FREE supplemental accident, personal liability, & excess automobile liability insurance to all RSVP volunteers while they are assisting at their assigned station

  • RSVP offers annual incentives based on volunteer monthly hour submissions

  • RSVP offers point-to-point mileage reimbursement for volunteers who travel for volunteer opportunities (Food Runners!!) 

    • Requires a monthly reimbursement form to be filled out

    • .15 cents a mile 

To enroll in RSVP, simply complete the RSVP Volunteer Application, review their volunteer handbook, and sign it once you receive it.
